What Is KUCCPS?
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), a State Corporation, chooses applicants for admission to universities, national polytechnics, technical training centres, and other authorised higher education institutions on behalf of the Government of Kenya.
While the government sponsors some students to attend universities and colleges, KUCCPS does not subsidise students. The Government provides financing to the corresponding TVET institutions in support of the students admitted under the KUCCPS procedure.
The application deadlines for the placement of 2021 KCSE candidates in universities and colleges for the academic years 2022–2023 have been released by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). The School/Centre application will open on January 4, 2022, and end on March 31, 2022, respectively.
The Placement Service is pleased to announce that the online application portal is now open to all secondary school principals to upload programme choices submitted by the 2021 – 2022 KCSE examination candidates in their respective centres/institutions.
